Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for inspecting safety of an electropermanent magnet for a lifter and a method therefor. A device for inspecting safety of an electropermanent magnet for a lifter, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a power supply unit for supplying preset power to an electropermanent magnet of a lifter; a sensing unit for sensing a voltage and current through an inner coil of the electropermanent magnet; and a determination unit for calculating a magnetic flux amount or inductance of the electropermanent magnet and comparing the magnetic flux amount or the inductance with preset values to determine safety. Accordingly, it is possible to determine the safety simply by using the inner coil of the electropermanent magnet.
