Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a device capable of highly accurately measuring the moving time (speed) of a single particle, an ionic current measurement apparatus and a zeta potential measurement apparatus which use the device, an ionic current measurement method, and a zeta potential measurement method. Said problem can be solved by a device to be used for measuring ionic current, the device comprising: a substrate; and flow paths formed in the substrate. The flow paths include a sample liquid introduction flow path, a sample recovery flow path, and a narrow flow path formed between the sample liquid introduction flow path and the sample recovery flow path. The narrow flow path includes three or more narrow parts formed by using projecting parts. The narrow parts are formed so as to be roughly linear in a direction from the sample liquid introduction flow path to the sample recovery flow path. The interval between adjacent ones of the narrow parts is 0.5-3, when the width of the narrow parts is defined as 1.
