Abstract:
The invention relates to a metallurgy, in particular to a device for loading a blend into a shaft furnace, mainly a blast furnace. The device comprises the following equipment arranged along the vertical axis of the blast furnace: a feed hopper, a hermetic accumulating bunker with upper and lower through holes. The following is arranged above the holes: protective cases with locks for closing the through holes, said locks being fixed to the bars of drives for vertical displacement thereof, blend cut-off cylinders, a blend distributor connected to a rotation drive and a collector for supplying protective gas. Each protective case comprises a bearing ring, an intermediate cylinder mounted thereon, and a lid. Said case forms a cavity in which upper diaphragm and lower diaphragm with an orifice are arranged. In the orifice there is an inner cylinder with the blend cut-off cylinder mounted thereon. The inner cylinder can move vertically.
