Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for locking and unlocking the lid of a money chest which is controlled by a cash register. During use, the money chest is placed on or fixed onto a stationary base piece. The inventive device comprises a bolt which is mounted on the money chest housing and can be moved between a locked and an unlocked position. The device furthermore comprises a locking element, actuated by means of a lock, for moving the bolt. This locking element can also be switched between an active and an inactive position. The keyhole of the lock is covered when the money chest is placed on the base piece.
