Abstract:
A device management system according to one embodiment comprises: a notification processing unit for acquiring a proximity notification indicating a situation in which a portable connection source device is in proximity to a target connection destination device; and a connection determination unit for managing a connection between the connection source device and the target connection destination device via a radio communication network in response to the proximity notification. The connection determination unit refers to a database for storing a connection history indicating past connections between the connection source device and one or more past connection destination devices, and connects the connection source device to the target connection destination device in response to connection conditions for connecting the connection source device to the target connection destination device being satisfied based on the connection history of the connection source device.
