Abstract:
A device for manufacturing a paper tube for a cigarette comprises: a rod-shaped first member; a second member that can receive rolling paper and the first member, the second member having a receiving part that holds the rolling paper in a state wound around the first member; a rack-shaped member provided to either the first member or the second member, the rack-shaped member being fixed in relation to the rolling paper; and a pinion-shaped member provided to the other of the first member and the second member, the pinion-shaped member being capable of engaging with the rack-shaped member so that an overlap portion in which the ends of the rolling paper overlap is sandwiched between the pinion-shaped member and the rack-shaped member, and the pinion-shaped member moving in a rotating manner in relation to the rack-shaped member and the overlap portion, whereby an embossing is formed on the overlap portion and the ends are joined.
