Abstract:
A device for manufacturing sheet glass, for molding a sheet glass (G) by an overflow downdraw method in which molten glass (Gm) is merged and integrated at a bottom end of the mold (1) while being caused to flow down along both outside surfaces (3) of the mold (1), wherein protruding pieces (7) which protrude downward from a bottom end (4) of the mold (1) are provided to at least both end parts in the width direction of the bottom end of the mold (1), and distal ends (9) of the protruding pieces (7) form a straight line parallel to the bottom end (4) of the mold (1).
