Abstract:
This secondary battery system 1 measures the degree of deterioration of a battery pack 4 comprising a plurality of batteries 4n connected in series. The secondary battery system 1 comprises: a voltage sensor 7 for measuring the voltages of each of the plurality of batteries 4n; a discharge completion detection unit 19 for detecting whether there is a battery among the plurality of batteries 4n that has fallen to or below a prescribed specific voltage Va; a battery determination unit 14 for, when the discharge completion detection unit 19 detects that one of the plurality of batteries 4n has fallen to or below the specific voltage Va, determining a specific battery that was the first battery from among the plurality of batteries 4n to fall to or below the specific voltage Va; and an SOH estimation unit 16 for charging the battery pack 4, estimating the SOH of the specific battery determined by the battery determination unit 14, and calculating the SOH of the specific battery as the overall SOH of the battery pack 4.
