Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for measuring the speed of a material, which includes: a main body section positioned at the outlet side of a rolling stand to be disposed at the lower side of a material which is transmitted from the rolling stand; and a speed measuring section mounted to the main body section for measuring the speed of the material which is transmitted from the rolling stand. According to the present invention, it is possible to precisely measure the speed of the material which is transmitted from the rolling stand so as to make the transmission amount of the material uniform on the basis of the measurement. Therefore, it is possible to resolve the inferior quality problems of the material such as the malfunction of the device, the overlapping of the material, the breakage of the material, or the like.
