Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for measuring the speed of a strip between rolling stands. The device comprises: an induction current generating unit, wherein a hollow part is formed thereinside and a secondary coil is wound on the outer circumferential surface; a magnetic flux generating unit, wherein a space part is formed thereinside with the induction current generating unit arranged in the space part, and a first coil is wound on the outer circumferential surface; a reference current application unit for applying reference current to the first coil; and an induction current measurement unit which measures the induction current induced by the secondary coil as a strip moves through the hollow part of the induction current generating unit.
