Abstract:
A center hole is easily and accurately formed in a raw material crankshaft at a proper position. A center hole boring device for forming a center hole for machining in both end surfaces of the raw material crankshaft (1) comprises a main clamper (15), centering chucks (16), and working blade tools (17). The main clamper (15) holds and fixes the raw material crankshaft (1). The centering chucks (16) can chuck both ends of the raw material crankshaft (1) in the state of being held on the main clamper (15) in the attitude of being held on the main clamper (15) to measure the shape of the raw material crankshaft (1). The working blade tools (17) form the center holes at respective both ends of the raw material crankshaft (1) held on the main clamper (15).
