Abstract:
Provided are a device and a method for cleaning a vulcanizing mold with which it is possible, during mold-releasing of a vulcanized rubber in a vulcanizing step, to more simply prevent the vulcanized rubber from adhering to and remaining on a part to be cleaned that has been cleaned by means of laser light. When a molding surface 12 of a vulcanizing mold 11 is irradiated with laser light L from a laser head 3 and cleaned, an inert gas G is supplied from a supply nozzle 9 to place an irradiated range of the molding surface 12 being irradiated with the laser light L in an atmosphere of the inert gas G.
