Abstract:
A device for compensating a display defect of a display panel (303). The device comprises: a first interface (INF1), used for receiving a display drive signal to be applied to the display panel (303), the display drive signal comprising display data of pixels of the display panel (303); a second interface (INF2), used for receiving a temperature signal related to the display panel (303); a compensation unit (340), configured to compensate, at least according to the temperature signal, display data of pixels at the position where a display defect is located; and a third interface (INF3), used for outputting the compensated display data. Also disclosed is a method for compensating a display defect of a display panel (303).
