Abstract:
A device for configuring a user-centered main screen icon, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a generation unit which analyzes use patterns of each application of a user for a user terminal, and which generates lifestyle information according to the preference for using the applications of the user; a determination unit which determines an application ranking according to the number of uses and the hours of use of each application installed in the user terminal, by using the generated lifestyle information; and a display unit which selects n (n is a natural number) applications on the basis of the determined application ranking, loads icons corresponding to each of the selected n applications from a memory, and displays the loaded icons on a main screen of the user terminal.
