Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device and a method for controlling a BMS operation by using an external signal and, more particularly, provides a device and a method for controlling a BMS operation, in which, when an electric vehicle (EV) operates a BMS operation function, a key-run signal and a charger signal are configured by a circuit through a separate signal line or a separate external connector so that, when a battery pack of the electric vehicle is driven, an operation mode of a BMS is accurately driven by enabling double-recognition of the BMS along with driving and charging commands through CAN communication with the key-run signal or the charger signal in addition to with Aux power.
