Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device and method for controlling a vehicle seat. The present invention enables determining of jamming of a seat by means of a sensing operation of a Hall sensor in a structure, in which the Hall sensor is applied to a seat motor for providing driving force of a powered seat, and, if jamming of the seat occurs, enables supplying of maximum electric current to the seat motor. Therefore, the present invention has an advantage of resolving jamming of a seat by means of improving an operation mode of a seat control device in which a soft-start mode is employed.
