Abstract:
Provided are a crystallization device and crystallization method for obtaining higher purity (meth)acrylic acid while preventing potential obstruction of the crystallization tube such that there is no leakage of crude solution. The device for crystallizing (meth)acrylic acid comprises a feeding part for feeding crude (meth)acrylic acid solution; a crystallization tube; a tube for feeding heating medium; a tube for retaining heating medium; a reservoir part for retaining the crude (meth)acrylic acid solution that has passed through the crystallization tube; a circulating tube for circulating the crude (meth)acrylic acid solution from the reservoir part to the feeding part; and a pump for circulating the crude (meth)acrylic acid solution from the reservoir part to the feeding part. The circulating tube comprises a manometer. Batch-type dynamic crystallization is performed by allowing the crude (meth)acrylic acid to flow down in film form along the inside walls of the crystallization tube while being circulated.
