Abstract:
A device and a method for cutting a tension member (2) in a buried anchor (1) enabling easy removal of the tension member (2) in the buried anchor (1) in a short period of time. The device for cutting the tension member (2) formed of a ferromagnet in the buried anchor (1) at a predetermined position comprises heating coils (8, 8') wrapped around the outer periphery of the tension member (2) at the predetermined cut position and a high-frequency current supply means supplying a high-frequency current with a frequency of 5 to 100 kHz and a voltage of 200 to 900 V from the outside to the coils (8, 8'). The method of cutting the tension member (2) in the buried anchor (1) comprises the step of heating and cutting the tension member (2) at the portion where the coils (8, 8') are wrapped by the device through high-frequency heating.
