Title:
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE HEAT CAPACITY OF AN OBJECT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/001057
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (1) for determining the heat capacity of an object (2), comprising: a first heat conduction member (11) via which the object (2) can be coupled in a heat conducting manner to the device (1). According to the invention said first heat conduction member (11) is formed by a first Peltier (10) element, which is connected to an inductive component (30), so that a heat current from an object (2) coupled to said first heat conduction member (11) through said first Peltier element (10) varying with time induces a voltage drop across said inductive component (30) that opposes the changes in said heat current. Further, the invention relates to a method for determining the heat capacity of an object.
