Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for disinfecting especially hands. The device consists of a chamber (5) in which a nozzle (9) is arranged. Said nozzle is connected by a line to a reservoir (10) and has a pump actuator (2). Means for releasing the pump actuator are also provided and according to the invention, the chamber is tubular and accessible from the front and has a closed rear wall. The tubular chamber has an opening in which the nozzle is located, the nozzle being aligned with the middle axis of the chamber. The tubular chamber has a diameter of approximately 180 to 220 mm and is approximately 200 to 250 mm long. The nozzle discharges an aerosol of fine particles of the disinfectant. The pump actuator can be regulated so that between 0.5 and 1.5 ml of disinfectant is sprayed per disinfecting operation.
