An electronic device according to one embodiment can: establish wireless communication with an external device; determine, on the basis of a wireless communication signal of the external device, a display reference position at which to display an extended screen of a mobile device; and when only a portion of the extended screen is in a field of view, provide a user first with the portion of the screen in the field of view.
