Abstract:
According to the present invention, in step S11, an aspect ratio R of a block is referred to, and when R=1, the process goes to step S12. In step S12, when a block size is determined as 4x4 or 8x8, the process goes to step S13 and a prediction mode-dependent (M) scanning manner is specified. When the block size is 16x16 or greater, the process goes to step S14 and an oblique scanning (D) manner is specified. In step S11, when the aspect ratio R is not 1, the process goes to step S15. In step S15, when the block size is determined as 4x4 or 8x8, the process goes to step S16, and the prediction mode-dependent (M) scanning manner is specified. When the block size is 16x16 or greater, the process goes to step S17 and the oblique scanning (D) manner is specified.
