Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for estimating capacity degradation of a battery, which is capable of more easily and quickly estimating capacity degradation of an unused battery. The device for estimating capacity degradation of a battery according to the present invention, which is a device for estimating capacity degradation of an unused battery, comprises: a storage unit for storing manufacture date information of the battery; an estimation date input module for receiving, as an input, information of a date for which the capacity degradation of the battery is to be estimated; an elapsed-day calculation module for calculating the number of elapsed days from the day when the battery was manufactured to the day for which the capacity degradation is to be estimated, using the information of the date for which the capacity degradation is to be estimated and the manufacture date information of the battery; and a capacity degradation estimation module for estimating the capacity degradation of the battery, using the number of elapsed days calculated by the elapsed-day calculation module.
