Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method for estimating a channel in a wireless communication system, an operation method of a user equipment (UE) including the steps of: receiving configuration information related to channel measurement from a base station; receiving reference signals for the channel measurement; generating channel information by using the reference signals; and transmitting the channel information to the base station. The reference signals are transmitted from the base station, reflected from a portion of reflecting surfaces included in reflecting intelligent surfaces (RISs), and then received by the UE. The configuration information may include information indicating the number or positions of one or more reflecting surfaces which are off among the reflecting surfaces.
