Abstract:

A user activity estimating method according to one embodiment of the present specification can comprise the steps of: acquiring motion sensor data from a motion sensor of a wearable device for a preset duration; generating a plurality of pieces of decomposed motion sensor data by deconstructing the motion sensor data at one or more time intervals; extracting motion features for each of the plurality of deconstructed motion sensor data; classifying each of the motion features on the basis of a predetermined classification algorithm, and determining user activities corresponding to each of the motion features on the basis of the classification results; and estimating a final user activity on the basis of the determined user activities.
