Abstract:
A device for the flow-through treatment of web-shaped, gas-permeable material, in particular for drying woven or nonwoven fabrics, comprises a rotatably mounted screening drum (5) which is connected to a vacuum generator and which has a permeable outer circumference. The material web (M) to be treated passes around part of the outer circumference of the screening drum (5), and an inner cover (B) is arranged inside the screening drum (5) and prevents or at least reduces suctioning in a partial circumferential area of the screening drum (5). In the claimed device, a cleaning apparatus (R) is associated with the screening drum (S), and the inner cover (B) is pivotably mounted; the inner cover can be pivoted into and secured in a cleaning position for performing cleaning work, and the inner cover (B) pivoted into the cleaning position prevents a washing liquid which is sprayed against the surface of the screening drum (S) by the cleaning apparatus from reaching the rear areas of the screening drum (S).
