Abstract:
A molding device and method for forming ceramic ferrule blank is disclosed, in
which, a shaped wire (2) is set in a mold cavity (1) of forming the ferrule blank,
a knock pin mould (4) is provided in the lower opening of the mold cavity (1), an
axle hole (5) is set in the knock pin mould (4) for the shaped wire's threading,
two punching half dies (6) and corresponding half die press heads (7) are provided
over the mold cavity (1), a wire groove (8) is set at one side of the half die press
head (7) for receiving the shaped wire (2), one end of the shaped wire (2) is fixed
below the knock pin mould (4), and the other end thereof may be clamped by a wire
clip unit (9).
