Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate than a 4th generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a method performed by a digital unit (DU) of a base station in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: configuring, in a first control message, a section extension field including additional information; and transmitting the first control message to a radio unit (RU) of the base station, wherein the first control message includes information relating to one or more terminals scheduled in the base station.
