Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rates. According to various embodiment disclosed herein, a method performed in a wireless communication system by a distributed unit (DU) comprises the steps of: receiving a sounding reference signal (SRS) for channel estimation from a terminal; on the basis of the received SRS, generating information about channel prediction performed by a radio unit (RU); and transmitting a control message including the generated information about channel estimation to the RU through a control plane (C-plane), wherein the information about channel estimation includes an index of the terminal and information about the SRS.
