Abstract:

A device for generating and displaying a 3D map, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an acquisition unit for acquiring pose information including position and rotation information with regard to photographing locations, of which 3D information for the 3D space is obtained, on the basis of a global coordinate system; a generation unit for generating, based on the acquired pose information, a plurality of local coordinates for the 3D space according to at least one of spatial proximity and time proximity of the photographing locations; and a display unit for generating and displaying a 3D map by, if an observer of virtual reality is located within the 3D space, searching for a photographing location corresponding to the location of the observer by using the plurality of local coordinates, and using 3D information obtained in the corresponding photographing location.
