Abstract:
Provided is a device for identifying metal corrosion, comprising a metal test piece (1), a timer (10), a tensioning device and a liquid tank (2). The tensioning device comprises a support (3), two fixed pulleys, a pulling cable (5), a weight and a vibration motor (6). The support is fixed on one side of a lower portion of the liquid tank, the first fixed pulley (11) is fixed on the other side of the lower portion of the liquid tank, and the second fixed pulley (4) is fixed at an upper end of a side wall of the liquid tank. One end of the metal test piece (1) is fixed on the support, and the other end thereof is connected to a first end of the pulling cable. The pulling cable successively bypasses the first fixed pulley and the second fixed pulley. The weight is suspended at a second end of the pulling cable. The vibration motor is fixed on the weight. The timer (10) is arranged below the vibration motor. A method for identifying metallic corrosion is further provided. In the method, a corrosive solution is added to the liquid tank; the vibration motor provides an alternating stress; when the metal test piece breaks, the weight and the vibration motor fall down and press the press-button electronic timer, and thus the point in time of breakage of the metal test piece is recorded; and the corrosion of metal under the alternating stress is identified according to the time of breakage, and the corrosion rate of the metal test piece under the alternating stress is identified.
