Abstract:
The present invention provides a device and a method which are for identifying a region including a small object around a vehicle, and which are capable of quickly detecting small objects around the vehicle in real time. The device for identifying the region including a small object around the vehicle according to the present invention is provided with: an image acquisition unit that acquires an image around the vehicle from an imaging device of the vehicle; and an identification unit that acquires history information regarding the image and/or vehicle information of the vehicle, and identifies the region including the small object from the image on the basis of at least one of the image, the history information, and the vehicle information.
