Abstract:
Disclosed are a device and method for image generation which can restrict the size of storage areas required to display animated images. In an image generation device (1), processing blocks (12,16,17), which form an image generation unit, acquire object data (130p) and a display operation pattern which should be applied to the object data (130p) from data storage units (13,14) on the basis of specified screen configuration information (150i), and generate animated images from the object data (130p) on the basis of the object data (130p) and the display operation pattern.
