Abstract:
Wheels of a two-wheeled motor vehicle are supported by corresponding support rollers, and an antilock brake system is made to work on a wheel. A value relating to the rotation speed of the roller supporting the wheel to which the antilock brake system is made to work is measured by measurement means (20, 31). A waveform produced by operation of the antilock brake system and involved in a variation in the rotation speed of the wheel is obtained by a calculation means (44) based on the value obtained by the measurement means (20, 31). A determination means (45) determined whether a part of the waveform obtained by the calculation means (44) is in a predetermined range. In a brake system inspection of a two-wheeled motor vehicle, the method not only facilitates specifying of a malfunctioning portion, but also significantly reduces a time required for individual inspections to make the inspection accurate and efficient.
