Abstract:
A device for manufacturing permanent magnets provided to a dynamo-electric machine, each of the permanent magnets being manufactured in such a manner that magnet pieces which are formed by breaking and splitting the permanent magnet along cutout grooves are aligned and joined with each other with an adhesive agent provided between the fracture surfaces. The manufacturing device is provided with: a first pressing means for aligning the magnet pieces, which are formed by breaking and splitting the permanent magnet, in the thickness direction of the permanent magnet by pressing the magnet pieces in the thickness direction with the fracture surfaces made to face each other; and a second pressing means for aligning the magnet pieces in the width direction of the permanent magnet by pressing the magnet pieces in the width direction. The manufacturing device is also provided with a third pressing means for joining the opposing fracture surfaces of the magnet pieces by means of the adhesive agent present between the fracture surfaces, the joining of the opposing fracture surfaces being performed by pressing the magnet pieces in the longitudinal direction of the permanent magnet.
