Abstract:

Provided are a device and a method for manufacturing a three-dimensional shaped object by which it is possible to obtain a desired three-dimensional shaped object formed by laminating shaping material and make it difficult to form an unnecessary shaped portion on a front surface of the three-dimensional shaped object, and a material supply unit used in the device for manufacturing the three-dimensional shaped object. A nozzle part (4) that ejects shaping material (81) is provided with an opening/closing pin (5) that opens/closes a flow path tip (41) of the nozzle part (4) from an inner side E1. A stop position x (mm) of a tip (501) of the opening/closing pin (5) relative to a position of a tip (411) of the flow path tip (41) when the flow path tip (41) is closed has the relationship - 3D ≤ x ≤ 6D where an equivalent diameter of the flow path tip (41) of the nozzle part (4) is represented as D (mm).
