Abstract:
A device (1) for measuring the dynamic rigidity of the spindle (6) of a machine tool (5), the device (1) comprising: an unbalanced master (2) which is mounted to the spindle (6) through a holder (7) and has a center of gravity disposed eccentrically to the center of rotation of the spindle (6); a rotational speed meter (3) which measures the rotational speed of the spindle (6); and a run-out amount measuring device (4) which is disposed so as to face the unbalanced master (2) at a predetermined position in the axis direction (L) thereof, said predetermined position being an arbitrary position in the circumferential direction (C) of the unbalanced master (2), and measures the amount of run-out of the unbalanced master (2). The device (1) for measuring the dynamic rigidity of the spindle calculates the dynamic rigidity of the spindle (6) on the basis of the relationship between the rotational speed measured by the rotational speed meter (3) and the amount of run-out measured by the run-out amount measuring device (4).
