Abstract:
A processor of this electronic device can be configured to: use a wireless communication circuit of the electronic device so as to receive a first advertising signal broadcasted from another electronic device; use the wireless communication circuit so as to transmit, on the basis of the reception strength of the first advertising signal, which is greater than the reference reception strength, a connection request to the other electronic device; use the wireless communication circuit so as to transmit, through the connection with the other electronic device established on the basis of at least a part of the connection request, a signal for requesting the other electronic device to broadcast a second advertising signal; use the wireless communication circuit so as to receive the second advertising signal, broadcasted with the second transmission power, which is lower than the first transmission power of the first advertising signal, from the other electronic device in response to the signal; and register the other electronic device to an external electronic device on the basis of at least a portion of the reception of the second advertising signal.
