The invention relates to a method and a device (100) for obtaining pure substances from aqueous starting materials (120) containing fat and/or protein. At least some elements (30, 40) of the device (100) for producing the pure substances (122) are accommodated in at least one transportable standard container (1100, 1300). The device (100) has a modular design and all elements are dimensioned in such a way that said elements can be transported by trucks.
