Abstract:
A device and a method for outputting an image onto a surface of a jewel by using a pre-distorted image are disclosed. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the device for outputting an image onto a surface of a jewel by using a pre-distorted image comprises: a distorted image generation unit for generating a distorted image corresponding to an original image to be outputted onto a table surface of the jewel, by taking into consideration the characteristics of the jewel and the characteristics of the original image; and an output unit for outputting visible light corresponding to the distorted image, such that the original image is outputted onto the table surface of the jewel.
