Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to perform electrical power demand control without reducing productivity. A device for performing electrical power demand control, including: a processor; and a storage medium including a command for causing the processor to obtain the total power consumption amount of a plurality of manufacturing devices, obtain the production capacity of each of the manufacturing devices from production information regarding each of the manufacturing devices, and perform electric power control on a manufacturing system on the basis of the total power consumption amount and production capacities. The electric power control performed includes determining that electric power demand control is necessary if the total power consumption amount reaches a prescribed threshold value, and excluding, from manufacturing devices subjected to the electric power demand control, the manufacturing device having the smallest production capacity from among the manufacturing devices.
