Abstract:
A device for preventing over-discharge of an energy storage system and re-operating the same, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a constant external power supply; a battery in which electric power is stored; a power adjustment device for converting power of the constant external power supply and power of the battery; and a main switch for controlling a connection between the constant external power supply and the battery, wherein the battery further includes: a battery management system, which blocks discharge of the battery by turning off the main switch when the remaining capacity of the battery is less than or equal to a predetermined capacity, and operates in a sleep mode; and a wake-up relay of which one end is connected to the constant external power supply so as to activate the battery management system operating in the sleep mode.
