Abstract:
The invention relates to a device and a method for processing open bags (2), said device comprising a handling system (50) which allows open bags to be exchanged with a rotatable packaging machine (1). The handling system has a rotary system (52) which revolves around an axis of rotation of the handling system and on which two gripper arms (8,9) for gripping the open bags are arranged. The two gripper arms are separate from one another and can be moved longitudinally transversely to the axis of rotation of the rotary system, in order to allow a longitudinal movement of the gripper arms in relation to the rotary system in addition to the revolving motion around the handling system.
