Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a device for producing foam. According to the invention, a fluid (Fl1) passes through a channel-shaped feeding chamber. Said fluid (Fl1) exits via an opening on one end of said chamber and arrives in a formation chamber surrounding the opening in order to form fluid deposits (Fl1). A second fluid (Fl2) is introduced into the formation chamber in such a way that it passes the opening. Fluid deposits are formed in the second fluid passing the opening when the first fluid (Fl1) exits from the feeder chamber via the opening. An expansion of the deposits is limited by the size of the formation chamber in the region of the opening, said size of the formation chamber in the region of the opening being smaller or equal to an expansion of a bubble/drop of the first fluid (Fl1) in a free-flow of the second fluid (Fl2). In order to form the foam, the second fluid (Fl2) flows with the deposits in a collecting chamber.
