Abstract:
According to the present invention: a plurality of first projecting parts for creating joining portions to join a pair of sheets to each other are disposed in the width direction of an anvil roll; the respective first projecting parts include transfer grooves that extend in the circumferential direction of the anvil roll and that transfer an elastic member with the elastic member being wedged into the grooves; and at least one receiving part is disposed between one of the first projecting parts and another one of the projecting parts adjacent thereto in the width direction so as to receive the pair of sheets.
