Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for protecting an inverter for photovoltaic power generation, which is capable of performing an inverter protection operation in response to an occurrence of external force as well as neutral wire disconnection, and automatically re-driving the inverter when external force is released, comprising: a voltage sensing part, connected to a three-phase four-wire type power line, for sensing and reporting each of the three-phase voltages; a failure cause discrimination part for confirming and reporting a neutral wire disconnection if the respective three-phase voltages are inconsistent but the sum of all the three-phase voltages is a predetermined value, and for confirming and reporting an occurrence of external force if the respective three-phase voltages are inconsistent and the sum of all the three-phase voltages is different from the predetermined value; a neutral wire replacement part for performing a neutral wire replacement operation when a neutral wire disconnection has been confirmed; and an inverter drive control part for stopping the driving of the inverter when an external force occurrence has been confirmed.
