Abstract:
A derivation unit (122A) derives acceleration information (AR), which corresponds to the accelerator opening degree, and revolution number information (ER), which corresponds to the number of engine revolutions, on the basis of travel information which reflects the operational status of a vehicle drive mechanism acquired by an acquisition unit (110A). A generation unit (123) successively generates pseudonoise signals of waveform patterns corresponding to a combination of the acceleration information (AR) and the revolution number information (ER). Meanwhile, a level control unit (124) calculates a level command value (LVC) on the basis of the derived revolution number information (ER). If the status of the revolution number information (ER) remains in a predetermined range for a predetermined period of time while the level command value (LVC) to be applied is calculated, the level control unit (124) reduces the level of the pseudonoise signals at rate of change which can reduce passenger discomfort. Thus, it is possible to generate pseudonoise which does not cause discomfort to passengers in the vehicle.
