Abstract:
A method for reducing vehicle body weight according to the present invention includes: a step (S1) for acquiring a vehicle body model 100 comprising joining points 121 and vehicle body components modeled using a plurality of elements; a step (S3) for obtaining, for each element of the vehicle body components, the sensitivity with respect to vehicle body performance; a step (S5) for determining, on the basis of the sensitivity obtained for each element, positions where vehicle body components are to be divided and vehicle body components that are to be newly integrated with one another; a step (S7) for generating an optimization analysis model 200 in which the vehicle body components have been divided and newly integrated on the basis of the determination; a step (S9) for setting loading and constraint conditions and optimization analysis conditions pertaining to the vehicle body mass and the vehicle body performance; and a step (S11) for carrying out plate thickness optimization analysis in which optimum plate thicknesses for the vehicle body components in the optimization analysis model are obtained under the loading and constraint conditions and optimization analysis conditions that have been set.
