Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To shorten a time required for reproducing sounds and the like in an
optical disc reproducing device. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] In an optical
disc reproducing device, s servo control section (4) for controlling an optical
pickup (3) is started, and at the same time, a level of the tracking error signal
and a level of a focus error signal required for performing various adjustments
of balance, gain and the like are recorded in a buffer (5) by a servo signal processing
section (4b) from the tracking error signal and the focus error signal obtained
from the reflection light from a CD (11). The adjustments are made by using the
level of the tracking error signal and the level of the focus error signal recorded
in the buffer (5) while information recorded in the CD (11) is reproduced.
