Abstract:
The invention relates to a device and a method for scarifying a roadway without removal of material situated on the roadway, which roadway comprises a road surface comprising sand, gravel and/or ice (7), and which device is intended to be mounted on a vehicle for propelling the device. The device has a plurality of scarifier members (6) comprising scarifier points (10) and invidual holding devices (4) for the scarifier points, which scarifier members are positioned at a distance from each other, spacings thereby being formed between respective scarifier members, allowing said sand, gravel and/or ice as well as said material situated on the roadway to pass between the scarifier members. The invention also relates to a device for treatment of a roadway, comprising at least one blade (13) for moving snow, gravel or similar material which mainly is found on top of the road surface, as well as a scarifying device (6) for scarifying said road surface.
